Tasks
- You actively contribute to the calibration of hybrid and gasoline engines and help ensure compliance with current and future emissions requirements
- You calibrate engine start and emissions-related functions and continuously improve their performance
- You independently coordinate test and measurement activities and work closely with cross-functional teams
- You actively drive the further development of your technical area of expertise
- You develop innovative calibration strategies with a focus on future emissions regulations such as Euro 7
- You support the onboarding, training, and professional development of new FEV colleagues
- You participate in vehicle testing and development drives and work with a motivated team on future-oriented powertrain solutions
Qualification
- You have successfully completed a degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- You possess in-depth knowledge and a strong system-level understanding of gasoline engines, combined with at least five years of professional experience in powertrain calibration
- You are experienced in working with engine test bench instrumentation and calibration software
- You are proficient in using industry-standard calibration tools and software, including INCA, Creta, Uniplot, and Microsoft Office
- You bring extensive expertise in gasoline engine calibration, ECU calibration, and ECU parameterization
- You hold a valid Class B driver's license; a proving ground driving license is considered an advantage
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
