Tasks
- You are responsible for the creation and maintenance of variant coding for various vehicle models
- You ensure the correct implementation of variants in the production systems
- You work together with the development departments to coordinate variant requirements
- You carry out tests and validations of the variant coding
- You analyze and correct errors in the variant coding
- You document and continuously improve the coding processes
Qualification
- You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable qualification
- You have professional experience in the field of variant coding or configuration management, ideally in the automotive industry
- You have several years of experience in the environment of our customer BMW
- You have experience with the processes and tools in the series support of components in the automotive sector
- You have knowledge of relevant tools and systems (e.g. SAP, PDM systems). e.g. SAP, PDM systems)
- You have language skills according to CEF: German - C1; English - B2
- You are characterized by a confident manner, strong communication skills, assertiveness as well as analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
