Tasks

  • You support the team in the numerical analysis of battery models in the field of e-mobility
  • You will work independently on the development of an improved modeling methodology for the structural dynamic calculation of flexible busbars
  • A large part of your work will be structural analysis using the finite element approach
  • You use commercial software tools for modeling, calculation and post-processing
  • You document your work as part of your Bachelor's thesis
  • There is the possibility to complete an internship in advance

Qualification

  • You are enrolled as a Bachelor's student in mechanical engineering, computational engineering science or physics and are already well advanced in this field
  • You are familiar with the basics of finite element analysis
  • You are interested in current and future developments in the automotive sector and in innovative development methods
  • You have very good knowledge of Abaqus, knowledge of Ansa or HyperWorks is an advantage
  • You have a good command of written and spoken English, German would be an advantage as well as good MS Office skills
  • You are motivated and have an independent and goal-oriented way of working
  • Clear and reliable communication rounds off your profile
