FEV UK is the subsidiary of FEV Group for the British market covering the UK customers and together with our global teams we deliver projects. From our modern UK test and engineering centre in Coventry we work on exciting e-powertrain projects contributing to significant reduction in CO2 in transportation and mobility.
Tasks
- The key project interface to internal FEV engineering teams and customers
- Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to understand project structure and support successful project delivery
- Tracking internal project costings, revenues and forecasts. Providing key information relating to project plans and insights to project finances
- Working with the Sales Team to develop internal proposals
- Providing updates to management on the state of projects and developing action plans to resolve issues
- Manage the budgets, costs and forecasting cost to complete the projects
Qualification
- Degree qualified, ideally from a business, engineering or science related background or other relevant experience
- Relevant project management or project co-ordination experience, ideally in an automotive or engineering industry and working in an engineering project environment
- Highly motivated, organised and approachable person
- Attention to detail, ability for planning and to follow through in their execution
- Willing to point out arising issues and propose solutions
- Ability to support cross functional engineering teams with an enthusiasm and passion to successfully deliver projects to meet the performance objectives
- Strong numeracy, literacy and logic with great communication, interpersonal and people skills
- Awareness of project management and project finance structures desired
- Ideally have a driving license and ability to travel
- Open to opportunities to support a variety of business units and project subject matters
