From our modern UK test and engineering centre in Coventry we work on exciting e-powertrain projects contributing to significant reduction in CO2 in transportation and mobility.

Tasks

  • Develop and maintain software for automotive applications using Python.
  • Write and execute test cases using Gherkin syntax to ensure software meets requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Implement behaviour-driven development (BDD) practices to improve software quality and maintainability.
  •  Debug and resolve software issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Document software designs, test plans, and test results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automotive software development.
     

Qualification

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development using Python.
  • Experience with behaviour-driven development (BDD) and writing test cases in Gherkin.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automotive software standards and protocols (e.g., AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Github.
  • Familiarity with automotive hardware and embedded systems.
  • Understanding of machine learning and data analysis techniques
