From our modern UK test and engineering centre in Coventry we work on exciting e-powertrain projects contributing to significant reduction in CO2 in transportation and mobility.
Tasks
- Build efficient, robust and scalable connected vehicle cloud platforms for data driven systems, AI applications & vehicle cloud services
- Design and develop microservices architecture-based solutions, OOPs design principles, vehicle onboard-offboard system integration, IoT & data ingestion system, cybersecurity, etc
- Collaborate with software teams and cross functional teams for customers located across geographical locations
- Research, analyse and build prototype to address challenges on Vehicle to everything(V2X) and Software defined vehicle (SDV) solutions
- Define and lead Agile development practices and implement DevOps methodology
Qualification
- Engineering degree and at least 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of Automotive domain with experience in development of Connected Vehicle features, Data Engineering, AI model platform development and Cybersecurity concepts would be a plus
- Experience in designing and implementing Telematics Unit, IoT gateway applications, Remote Device Operations, Firmware Update and Real time streaming applications
- Proficient in one or more of programming languages Python, C, C++, JAVA, C# .Net, Nodejs, Android, Angular, ReactJS
- Working knowledge on Cloud platform (AWS, Azure or Google) and cloud-based services especially Computation, Networking, Storage, IoT stack, Container technologies like Kubernetes, Docker etc
- Hands-on knowledge of communication protocols: Ethernet (TCP/UDP), CAN, CAN FD, NFC, MQTT, SOME/IP, HTTP + RESTful, DDS, Bluetooth low energy
- Written and fluent in English is mandatory
