YOUR ROLE
As a Manager (m/f/d) at FEV Consulting, you will play a critical role in shaping high-impact projects and guiding clients through major strategic and technological transformations. You will lead international project teams, manage senior client stakeholders, and take responsibility for project quality, profitability, and successful delivery. You will also contribute to business development, thought leadership, and practice growth while actively developing the next generation of FEV Consulting talent.
In addition to leading client projects, you will have opportunities to collaborate with Beyond Materials on initiatives that go beyond traditional consulting, including customer consortiums, cross-industry collaboration models, and end-to-end commercialization support for emerging technologies.
This is an exciting position for candidates who want to combine consulting, technology, and entrepreneurship—working with FEV, a German technology and engineering group; Mitsubishi Corporation, one of Japan’s leading business enterprises; and Beyond Materials, a start-up company built to create new value in the materials industry
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree or higher in engineering, science, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of consulting experience (strategy, operations, technology, or technical consulting) or equivalent combined academic and professional background.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, including experience with quantitative modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven project and team leadership experience in a consulting environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics to senior stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner. Demonstrated ability to build trust-based client relationships and drive impact.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Curiosity and passion for future technologies, sustainable mobility, digital transformation, and innovation.
- Fluency in English is required; Japanese language skills are strongly preferred for Japan-based client engagements. Willingness to travel internationally based on project needs.
