Tasks
- You are part of the Battery Design team, which develops the series battery systems of the future for global OEMs
- You will work closely with other teams within FEV as part of your thesis
- You are part of the development of a new battery concept by FEV that offers increased safety, an innovative temperature management concept and improved recyclability compared to the state of the art
- You are responsible for the conceptual development and design of a battery module for automotive applications
- You will use innovative function-integrated elements to achieve the above-mentioned properties
- You will accompany the physical implementation of your design in our prototype workshop
Qualification
- You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in the field of engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy technology, automotive engineering, etc.)
- You are interested in design and concept work in the field of battery systems and would like to be involved in the development of tomorrow's mobility
- You have knowledge of CAD programs for design work
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English and are confident with MS Office
- You are interested in and enthusiastic about the field of e-mobility and batteries
- You have strong communication and motivation skills
- You work team orientated, but you have also an independent and self-reliant way of working
