FEV Polska Sp. z o.o. as a part of the FEV Group - an international research and development company - provides complete solutions in the field of drive systems, supporting leading vehicle manufacturers and other means of transport. We specialize in the comprehensive development of diesel, hybrid and electric drives. We develop software that controls the operation of the drive (engine, gearbox, batteries) and supports the driver (ADAS systems). We provide braking systems and software for testing drive systems. We actively participate in shaping the future of the automotive industry.
Your Tasks
- CAD Design (Pro-E, Catia V5, 3DExperience, Siemens NX) of functional systems & components
- Conducting 3D models and 2D technical drawings of various components / systems
- Preparing design and technical documentation
- Carrying out research and development tasks under technical lead of experience colleagues
- Good level in general technical knowledge and technical documentation
- Carrying out basic engineering calculations related to designed elements (tolerance stack ups, bolted joins, ratios, stresses, …)
Your qualification
- Student of the last year in mechanical engineering or mechatronics or equivalent field
- Availability to work min. 20 hours/week/or full time
- Good knowledge of one of the CAD tools (DS CATIA V5/3DExperience, PTC Creo, NX Siemens)
- University knowledge of 2D technical documentation and GD&T
- Understanding of principles and construction of IC engines, HV batteries, E motors, EDU’s
- Good orientation in the technology of standard manufacturing processes used in automotive
- Application of university knowledge from mechanic, thermodynamic and physics
- Communicative skills in English - both written and spoken form
- Creative thinking, communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Good candidate should have also a passion for vehicles and powertrains
