Tasks
- You lead the Battery Management System (BMS) Controls team
- You are responsible for the Architecture development (functional level) for BMS, functional development for battery systems (high and low voltage, different cell technologies and vehicle topologies), safety software development based on the ISO26262 (Functional Safety Concept) as well as the strategic further development of FEV application software
- You are responsible for the disciplinary leadership and technical guidance of the team
- You work on the continuous technical development of the above mentioned topics
- You closely coordinate with the teams: software integration, testing, calibration and hardware development
- You manage resources and budget planning for the team
- You are responsible for the proposal preparation, presentation to customers and acquisition of new projects
Qualification
- You have a degree in engineering, e.g. in electrical engineering or mechatronics or in a related field of study
- You have already gained sound expertise in the field of application software development according to A-SPICE and/or ISO26262 (requirements management, implementation, validation/verification)
- You are experienced in handling battery systems of lithium-ion technology, preferably in automotive applications (HV, 48V, 12V)
- You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- You convince with a high degree of flexibility, commitment and resilience
- You like to work in a team, but you also recognize yourself in an independent and autonomous way of working
- You have a self-confident during presentations in front of management, customers and experts
