Tasks

  • You are responsible for the E/E topics of the high voltage components and system in various automotive applications (MC, PC, On-/Offroad L/HDV)
  • You will define requirements for the E/E systems and create safe state of the art HV architectures and controls
  • You are involved in the requirement management of E/E components such as the PDU ("Power Distribution Unit"), power electronics, the LV or HV wiring harness within the battery system, xCU hardware, etc.
  • You are responsible for the E/E calculations and simulations
  • You work on the derivation of specifications for E/E components (e.g. PDU, DC/DC or BMU)
  • You create E/E layouts and schematics
  • You monitor the HV safety 
  • Your work on test and validation planning including their execution

Qualification

  • You have successfully completed an engineering degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or vehicle technology
  • You have already gained first experience in the field of automotive high voltage systems and/or vehicle E/E systems
  • You have experience in the specification and E/E design of HV components and systems
  • Ideally, you have know-how in using requirements management software (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, Magic, InSTEP), E/E concepts and simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, LabView)
  • You are fluent in English and German, written as well spoken
  • You have a good ability to communicate as wall as presenting results 
  • You bring a structured, precise and reliable style of working to the table 
  • You are team oriented as well as independent and autonomous
