Tasks

Do you want to be part of the digitalisation of this industry in what is probably the most exciting time since the invention of the automobile?

FEV develops high-quality software products and solutions for vehicles and powertrains that are used by customers worldwide.

As a Technical Editor in the Software department, you will make the added value of our software solutions transparent. Gain deep insights into modern software solutions used by major German automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
Work in an agile manner with a team of professional software developers.
Create and maintain German-language instructions for the operation of the software solution in digital form. Help users to get the maximum benefit from the software solution with your easy-to-understand instructions, training documents and tutorials.

 

Qualification

Completed studies or training in a technical field such as computer science, mechatronics or electrical engineering.
A good general understanding of IT and software
Previous knowledge in the creation of technical texts and documents
A good feel for design aspects
Experience in the conceptual design of software solutions is an advantage
Previous experience in the use of Confluence and Jira is an advantage
Familiarity with agile methods such as Scrum
Very good knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken
Team orientation, but also independent and self-reliant way of working
