  • You work on function development for battery management systems (BMS) for high- and low-voltage batteries
  • You identify and manage functional requirements
  • You work on interface specification, especially to hybrid control unit, charger, DCDC, IPU
  • You make specifications for the implementation of BMS functions in MATLAB/Simulink
  • You specidy XiL-testcases and analyse respective test results
  • You provide technical guidance for startup and calibration of functions with application tools like INCA, CANape
  • You further the technical development of the above-mentioned topics 
  • You assume technical responsibility in the project / Monitoring of technical quality in the projects
  • You provide technical support in the preparation of offers, presentation to customers and acquisition of new projects
  • You provide test bench and vehicle integration support
  • You are prepared to go on business trips abroad


  • You have completed engineering studies of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or mechanical engineering or equivalent 
  • You have 3 or more years of professional experience in the field of application software development according to the V-development cycle (e.g. A-SPICE, ISO26262)
  • You have 3 or more years of professional experience in specification, integration and calibration of battery management systems (especially with MATLAB/Simulink, INCA, CANape)
  • You bring very good knowledge of high- and low-voltage batteries with focus on automotive applications to the table
  • You have knowledge of cell chemistry and aging mechanism is an advantage
  • You are experienced in the use of MS-Office and Matlab/Simulink 
  • You have very good English and German skills
  • You bring a high degree of flexibility, commitment and resilience
  • You have the ability to work in an international team as well as autonomous, good communication skills
