As lead architect E/E for fuel cell systems (m/f/d) you are the contact person (m/f/d) in the system development team for the E/E topics of the fuel cell system. In addition, you you are the link to other development teams like the powertrain E/E team. In doing so, you will define requirements for the E/E systems and create safe HV architectures for fuel cell systems as well as powertrains according to the state of the art.
The following tasks await you:

  • Lead architect (m/f/d) for E/E development of fuel cell systems
  • Requirements management of E/E components such as the PDU ("Power Distribution Unit"), power electronics, the LV or HV wiring harness within the fuel cell system, FCCU hardware, etc.
  • E/E and EMC calculations and simulations
  • Derivation of specifications for E/E components (e.g. PDU, DC/DC or FCCU)
  • Creation of E/E layouts and schematics
  • HV safety
  • Test and validation planning including execution of tests on test benches on component and vehicle level considering national as well as international regulations and standards


  • You have completed an engineering degree in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics
  • You have several years of professional experience in the field of automotive high-voltage systems (preferably fuel cells) and/or vehicle E/E systems
  • You are experienced with requirements management software (e.g. Doors, Polarion, InStep), E/E concepts and simulation tools (e. g. Matlab, LabView)
  • Your written and spoken English skills are fluent (German preferred)
  • You have a very good ability to communicate and present results
  • Your way of working is structured, precise and reliable
  • You are teamoriented as well as independent and autonomous
