Electric motor bench test technician (m/f/d)

Full-time
Two areas of activity:
- GMP and vehicle engineering: from the performance of tests, studies, simulations, calibration of settings to the management of turnkey projects.
- Test facilities and instrumentation: from the development and supply of test bench equipment and software to the construction of turnkey test centres
Your Tasks
- Read and understand assigned customer test requests
- Prepare the tests assigned to him/her with regard to customer test requests
- Independently, or assisted by a test support technician, carry out the following test preparation stages: placing on a trolley, lining up, modelling, instrumentation or benching, unmounting and reconditioning the test support (electric motor or battery)
- Carry out the tests, analyse and check the results and draw up the intermediate reports before giving them to the test manager
- Ensure the updating and filling of the bench book for which they are responsible
- Correctly fill in the documents provided on a daily basis
- Detect anomalies and non-conformities on the tests and pass them on to his/her test supervisor
- Provide regular information on their work to the test manager.
- Draw up a weekly report on their activities
Management of resources
- Provides first level maintenance
- Prevents failures identified and then maintenance
- Proposes improvements to the means and testing processes
Internal and external relations
- Respects and ensures respect for the rules of safety, tidiness and cleanliness in the assigned benches: Takes care of his/her tools and those of the various workshop areas (model making, welding, engine and battery assembly, resources room)
- Ensures that the workshop is tidy and clean.
- Respects safety and confidentiality rules.
- Works as part of a team and/or in consultation with all staff.
- Respects and ensures compliance with the rules defined in the Quality and Environmental system.
Other
- Is responsible for the hygiene, cleanliness and order of his/her workstation
Your qualification
- Graduate of a Bac +2/3 in the field of combustion engines
- Technician or Senior Technician in electric motors or batteries (possible accompaniment if training in combustion engine)
- Electrical engineering training
- Experience in electric motor or battery testing
- You have a first experience in the operation of a test facility dedicated to the automotive industry, ideally for motors or electric components (battery, cell, etc.)
- Knowledge in the following areas: PID control Electromechanical Mechanical Hydraulic Pneumatic Measurement/ metrology/ Vibration analysis
- BR BT and BC BT electrical clearance required
