  • Design, implementation and validation of Low-level Software (embedded C, C++)
  • Hardware related software development e.g. complex device driver or peripheral driver development
  • Specification and configuration of AUTOSAR Basic Software stacks
  • Design and specification for Scheduling/Tasking, Memory handling, Diagnostics and Multicore systems.
  • Support and concept designs of safety- and security-relevant software
  • Defining, setting up and integration of tool chain and development environments
  • Performing integration activities regarding AUTOSAR BSW, RTE and Application Software 
  • On target debugging and profiling up to test development for continuous integration
  • Technical discussions with customer and/or suppliers
  • Requirements specification of control units for series production with focus on software
  • Maintenance of software tool chain (incl. make, compiler, linker)


  • Bachelor/Master degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or any other relevant studies
  • Several years experience in embedded software development and expert knowledge on C/C++
  • Experience and/or strong ambition in automotive software development and corresponding development processes
  • Experience and/or strong ambition in AUTOSAR Basic Software/Application development and/or AUTOSAR Adaptive
  • Basic knowledge about automotive powertrains (transmissions, combustion engines, hybrid vehicles)
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken), German is a pre
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in managing customers and suppliers, as well in working for automotive OEMs as a customer
  • High interest in structured and process-oriented approaches to systems development
  • High degree of flexibility and innovation capability under tough conditions
  • Ability to work independently and in an international and global team
