Your tasks

  • Responsibility for the specification, implementation and testing of diagnostic functions, interfaces and tools
  • Requirement definition for aftermarket and end of line communication
  • Support of vehicle and test bench (HIL) testing activities
  • Close collaboration with function and component owners
  • Definition of function and component diagnostic
  • Documentation of diagnostic functions and interfaces

Your qualification

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable degree
  • Structured, self-responsible and solution-oriented working attitude
  • Profound knowledge of diagnostic functions (e.g. Vector-Tools CANdelaStudio, CANoe)
  • Profound knowledge of diagnostic protocols (e.g. OBD, UDS, KWP 2000)
  • Knowledge of automotive communications protocols (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet) is beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
