Your tasks

  • Establish FEV group procedures, tools and methodologies. Deliver trainings and consults to the team members in regarding to hybrid powertrain concept and application development
  • Solve complex technical challenges and develop the state of art and future hybrid systems
  • Build up the team competences in hybrid powertrain development
  • Lead the technical decisions from concept to SOP
  • Modelling and simulation of hybrid powertrain for the purpose of vehicle performance evaluation
  • Optimization of hybrid control strategy and parameters in regarding to drivability and energy consumption
  • Build hybrid simulation model for the application of hardware in loop
  • Work together with vehicle calibration team to achieve significant reduction of calibration effort through detailed offline modelling and parameter optimization
  • Develop new business opportunities in conjunction with sales in an efficient and orderly manner to meet time and cost budgetary conditions
  • Participate in preparing technical and cost proposals for new projects
  • Present in front of customers as a technical expert

Your qualification

  • University degree in internal combustion engine or vehicle engineering or related education background, preferred PhD degree
  • In depth knowledge of hybrid powertrain and its development processes
  • In total at least 5 years working experience in hybrid powertrain with the focusing on hybrid control parameter optimization
  • Able to lead the concept decision and the detailed development in order to achieve the technical development targets
  • Strong communication skills in organizing, training, negotiate, coordinate and solve the conflicts
  • Strong sense of responsibility, very pro-active
  • Excellent English language, German is a plus
  • Target driven working style and team spirit
